Join Claire Matzke and Lenny Marcari for Pruning 101!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

After an enjoyable morning of instruction in our Learning Center, you will head outside for a hands-on lesson. Claire is a graduate of the UCONN Master Gardener Program and tends our beautiful perennial beds and herb gardens. Lenny has been a state licensed Arborist for 20 years, a member of the CT Tree Protective Association, and he is currently the Gardens and Grounds Manager at the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford. Bring your pruners and your lopers and learn from the pros the why, when and how to properly prune your trees and shrubs!
