In the spirit of Antiquarius, the Greenwich Historical Society presents a series of special festive fundraising events for the community to enjoy! December 2-4, shop the Winter Market at Christ Church Greenwich and celebrate the season at the Festival of Trees at the Historical Society. Swing by the Holiday Festival on Friday December 3 evening from 4-7pm to enjoy the family-friendly fun tours of the Bush-Holley House and a visit from Santa!

Find something for everyone on your list at our thoughtfully curated holiday market with 35 vendors offering the finest in Holiday Gifts, Jewelry, Clothing, Specialty Foods, Flowers and items made to be enjoyed with family & friends. 

Join us for Opening Night Festivities, including live music, cocktails, holiday raffle and first dibs on specialty items December 2 at 5:30.  

The experts from DOYLE are offering jewelry appraisals by appointment Saturday morning. 

A portion of all proceeds to support the Historical Society’s programs in education, the arts and historic preservation.

HOLIDAY FESTIVAL  Greenwich Historical Society

On Friday evening, the Greenwich Historical Society’s Cos Cob campus will come alive for the holidays, with activities for all ages.  Enjoy holiday crafts and gingerbread decorating, a special visit from Santa, and Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk as he brings Charles Dickens’ immortal tale to life using a treasure trove of characters in an intimate, imaginative and inspire blend of theater and storytelling.  The historic Bush Holley House, decorated in grand holiday style, will be open for our annual candlelight tours.  Sweet treats, refreshments and holiday cheer on tap! 
 

FESTIVAL OF TREES Greenwich Historical Society

Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 11am-4pm

Our third annual Festival of Tabletop Trees celebrates the talents of local retailers, organizations, and designers who help us make our homes festive sanctuaries during the holiday season. View, purchase or bid on a tree via on-site silent auction. Proceeds support the Greenwich Historical Society.

HOLIDAY TOURS OF THE BUSH-HOLLEY HOUSE

December 1, 2021 — January 9, 2022
Wednesdays –  Sundays, 12:00-4:00 PM

Special Evening Candle-lit tours of the Bush-Holley House will be available at 4:00 PM on Saturday December 4, Saturday December 11 and Saturday December 18

Enjoy a guided house tour of the historic home of the Bush and Holley families, decorated for the holiday season. Tours provide visitors with an introduction to 2 distinct time periods: the New Nation (1790-1825) and the Cos Cob Art Colony (1890-1920), with discussion of the home, holiday traditions and décor. Tours will be limited to 10 guests, and we ask that all guests wear masks while indoors.
