Before you wrap the presents, before you scurry out to finish up your last minute holiday “to do” list, why not spend an hour in nature, drinking outlandishly good hot chocolate and eating a tasty homemade scone at the pinnacle of glorious Apple Hill? This is what folks in these parts refer to as “comfort and joy”! 8:00 am, Meet at the Apple Hill Trailhead off East Shore Road. Members: FREE, Non-members: $5.00. You must pre-register by calling 860-567-0857.
