The Walnut Beach Association (WBA) is a community focused, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Our primary goal is to beautify, enhance and promote the Walnut Beach area of Milford, CT, and to support our neighbors, community non-profits and local businesses. The WBA hosts a series of events throughout the year to help promote our community. These events include the Walnut Beach Arts Festival, Walnut Beach Clean-Up Day, the Summer Concert Series and the Walnut Beach Cornhole Tournament. It’s thanks to our many active members, volunteers, and sponsors that we are able to organize and host these events.
We are also proud to support our community High School graduates with the annual Walnut Beach Association Scholarship. Any community high school senior pursuing further education towards environmental studies, community service, the arts or music is eligible to apply. In 2020 the amount of the award was $500, and through community support we hope to increase this amount in the coming years. Students, please see your guidance counselor for more information!
