Sensory Friendly Day

The Science Center is an exciting place, bustling with loud sounds and bright lights...but we're lowering the volume and dimming the lights for Sensory Friendly Day.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Schools with special needs programs and families with children on the autism spectrum or with other developmental disabilities can enjoy special sensory friendly programs, stage shows, and so much more! We’ll also provide fun hands-on activities and a quiet room.
School groups can purchase tickets in advance for the special rate of $10 per person. Please note we will be closed to traditional school groups on Sensory Friendly Day. Families with special needs can purchase in advance for the discounted rate of $12 per person. Stage shows are $5 per person. Tickets will be available at the door for $14.95 each. 1:1 aides are always free.
