Orphan Train History Lecture: Join us via Zoom on Thursday, March 11th at 7:00 PM as we watch an online presentation by local historian and author, Michael Keene. This lecture is based on his newest book, Abandoned: The Untold Stories of the Orphan Trains. Mr. Keene uses archival photographs, original music, and narration to introduce notable events and people including Charles Loring Brace, who founded the Orphan Train Movement and the Children’s Aid Society, and Sister Irene Fitzgibbon who worked with the New York Foundling Home and Hospital.
