Erin and Ryan Loucks met working in professional theatre in 2005. For years, they have talked about how much they would love to start a local theatre company. Erin and Katie spent their high school years together, doing theatre in school and at then later working at a theatre camp together. Realizing that Newtown was lacking theatre opportunities, the trio started talking about starting their own company. That conversation led to more conversations and eventually Newtown Stage Co was officially born.
