Midsummer Celebration Day - Lachat Town Farm

Ring in Lachat's opening season with good old fashioned summer fun! Everyone will receive their very own Lachat Town Farm Nature Trail Map, designed by our friends at Sustainable Weston. While you’re taking in the beautiful surroundings on our trail, you’ll watch scenes from Shakespeare’s plays performed by students of the Acting Gym, led by teacher, Brian Carter. These high school students have been practicing all week at Lachat for this special performance. Or listen to music in the meadow performed by talented local artists. Come create your own flower crown, get a henna tattoo, or dance around our maypole. Wildlife in Crisis will also be in attendance to conduct an owl release.

This Midsummer Day will be fun for the whole family, whether with kids or without. To control numbers due to Covid, we are asking all attendees to pre-register. If sold out, we will not allow any walk-ins. Come anytime between 12pm – 5pm.
