Meet the Author Jr.: Chris Newell at Pequot Library

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/07/2026
What would life have been like if you lived during the American Revolution? What would you have eaten? Which side would you have fought on? Join Chris Newell to explore daily life during the American Revolution and discover the people who helped shape early America. He’ll share how he researched and wrote this newly updated edition of Scholastic’s If You Lived During the American Revolution to tell more inclusive stories—and answer all your questions along the way! With fun illustrations and a lively Q&A style, this book is perfect for curious kids, history fans, and adults alike.
