This presentation by New England Ballet Company is a perfect introduction of ballet for young and old alike! Enjoy a classic performance of Peter & the Wolf where the story comes to life with a cast of 10 characters all represented by instruments. The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood is an original children's ballet integrating three famous fairy tales that is sure to delight audiences as Red Riding Hood and the Wolf meet the Three Little Pigs and cross paths with the Princess and her Frog Prince on the way to Grandma's house! Watch all the instruments come to life in this delightful young person's guide to visualizing how an orchestra and its music is composed with the world premier of Benjamin Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. Rumor has it that the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance, so bring your cameras for free photo opportunities! There will be fun children's activities before and after the performance. Meet and greet the dancers after the performance! Doors open at 1:00 for pre-performance activities. Curtain at 2:00 pm!
