Citizens Bank invites you to come to Mystic Seaport for Family Fun Day on September 17. Thanks to Citizens generosity admission will be free for children ages 17 and younger. Families can enjoy all of the exhibits, demonstrations, and historic vessels at the Museum, plus some special activities courtesy of Citizens Bank.
Some of the great activities for children include:
Home Port – Crafts and amusements intended for children ages 8-12
Children’s Museum – A hands-on place for children ages 7 and younger
Discovery Barn – Explore the science behind a ship’s movement in “Force in Motion at Sea”
Navigation Quest – Find your way around the Museum using the navigational tools of a sailor
Playscapes – Climb aboard our pint-sized fleet: a sailing ship, tug boat, and a fishing dragger
In addition, the Boathouse boat rentals, river cruises, and horse-and-carriage rides will also be available for an additional fee.
Be sure to stop by the Membership Building throughout the day to enjoy complimentary coloring activities, arts and crafts, a photo booth and lemonade. IN addition, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Membership patio will be busy with free face painting, balloon twisting and glitter tattoos.
Citizens Bank customers who show their debit card to a Citizens colleague will receive a voucher for a free cookie as part of a Customer Appreciation Promotion! Vouchers can be redeemed at The Bake Shop, located in the Museum Store. Simply show your Citizens Bank card to a Citizens colleague and you will receive a sweet treat.
