Emperor of the Night: Owls with Colleen Harrak - White Memorial Conservation Center
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/16/2024
Experience why owls rule the night in this engaging program featuring our live barred owls and a digital presentation. See why no other bird is as loved or as feared as the owl. To some, the owl brings wisdom, while for others, death and destruction. Venture back in time to learn how owls have been viewed by human cultures all over the world and learn the science (or lack thereof!) behind some of these beliefs. (This program is not intended for small children. Recommended age of 10 and above) 2pm, A. B. Ceder Room.
