Computer Program{ming} Experience at Capital Community College

In collaboration with Capital Community College, the Connecticut Science Center is offering a two-week summer computer science program for middle school students entering grades 7-9. Hosted at Capital Community College, the Computer Program{ming} Experience will engage students in exciting and challenging computer science activities and labs to build computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

Topics covered in the Program{ming} Experience include mobile app development in MIT AppInventor, website design with HTML and CSS, and exploring and programming computational devices. Students will also participate in hands-on STEM activities and take two visits to the Connecticut Science Center. All participants will work on activities individually and work collaboratively in teams on a group project of their choice.
