WHO: Rising 6th-9th grade girls from across Fairfield County
WHAT: Be inspired! Camp LiveGirl will bring together 100 middle school girls from across Fairfield County to unite and empower. Explore new interests, passions, careers and the power of you … all while having fun in a diverse, team-based environment. Girls come away with improved self-confidence, communication, and relationship skills. Personalized afternoon schedule includes multi-sports or musical theatre. A camp like no other!!
CAMP FEE: $350 tax-deductible donation to LiveGirl Inc., includes t-shirt, backpack, lunch & snacks. (Scholarships & payment plans available.) After you register, you will receive an email with payment instructions.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: Leaders in Action course taught by New Canaan CARES, daily inspirational keynote speakers (including Fortune 500 female CEOs), a Career Expo, LiveGirl Olympics, and more!
TYPICAL DAY (9 AM - 4 PM)
8:00 Buses pick-up from Bridgeport, Norwalk, Stamford
9:00 Welcome games & team-building
9:30 Leaders in Action (New Canaan CARES) - see below
11:00 Break (yoga, dance party, stretches)
11:15 Keynote speaker & mentoring
12:00 Team lunch (provided)
12:30 Multi-sports (basketball, volleyball, soccer, track & field, lax, strength training, yoga)
OR Musical theatre workshops (singing, acting, dancing, theatre games)
3:30 Team reports
3:45 Closing debrief, affirmations (I am smart, I am strong, I am special … I am a LiveGirl!)
4:00 Buses depart for Bridgeport, Norwalk, Stamford
