Our Enrichment Afterschool Program is designed to challenge and engage children in an outdoor setting. The gardens, barns, trails, and play forest are the primary classroom space for STEAM-based activities. A farm-based educator works with small groups to create a social-emotional learning experience for school-aged learners. This program is designed for students in Kindergarten to grade 5.
A professional educator leads art, science, cooking, animal care, and garden projects. Experimenting, creating, and learning can happen in a slightly more structured manner in a small group. It is important to learn the joys of cooperating, sharing, taking turns through play, and experiencing fine and gross motor skills through projects.
