Earthplace offers educational programs for all ages, including Preschool, Summer Camp, year-round nature activities, and Harbor Watch programs, providing hands-on, nature-based learning opportunities. Our afterschool programs and internships provide unique experiential pathways that extend beyond traditional school curricula.

Harvest Moon Farm and Orchards

At the former location of Outhouse Orchards. Every day early Sept-end Oct: apple picking; Weekends: pumpkin patch, hay rides, pony rides. Pre-cut (not cut-your-own) Christmas trees during the holiday season.

Greater Bridgeport Symphony

The Greater Bridgeport Symphony has been a cornerstone of the cultural community in and around Bridgeport since its inception as a WPA Arts Program Project in 1934. The GBS is a professional orchestra that typically presents five mainstage concerts each season, in addition to chamber music. GBS has established a high standard for orchestral music in the region, and is a growing force for music education in Bridgeport’s schools.
