Winter Tree ID Hike at Roaring Brook Nature Center

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 03/04/2018
Join us for a guided walk under a full moon. This moon was known to Native Americans as the Full ‘Sap’ Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

If you look closely, winter trees aren’t bare at all. Their buds, twigs, bark, and general shape give plenty of clues as to their identity. Join us for a late winter hike through to learn who’s who in our woods.
