Sensory-Sensitive Saturday at Greenwich Audubon

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 12/12/2020
Join Greenwich Audubon Center the second Saturday of the month as we support people with challenges who are sensory-sensitive and would like to enjoy learning about nature in a quiet and soothing space. This program is part of our Audubon For All initiative, which offers accessible and inclusive programs to support people with intellectual and physical challenges, because we firmly believe that all people should have access to nature and that experiences in nature are enriching and beneficial to all. During our Sensory-Sensitive Saturday sessions, we provide relaxing nature films, natural artifacts with interesting textures, books, and pictures. Staff naturalists are present to support learning about nature in this soothing environment.
