Sensory Friendly Day at the Connecticut River Museum

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 12/11/2023
The Connecticut River Museum is proud to host Sensory-Friendly Hours. Reserve your space today! Thanks to a generous grant from The Petit Family Foundation, we are able to offer sensory friendly items during the visit, including beanbag chairs and fidget toys. Exhibits with loud noises and/or bright lights are modified to allow people with a range of abilities to experience all the Museum has to offer. A designated quiet room is set up for the duration of the event to allow visitors to decompress, take a break, and experience the Museum at their own pace. Preview guides and materials for families to read together before visiting are available below.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
