Make Music Day. Presented by Ridgefield Arts Council at Keeler Tavern

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 06/21/2021
Join us in a world-wide celebration of music! As part of international Make Music Day, KTM&HC will be hosting live local musicians at our Visitor Center all day - a great way to begin or wrap up a tour of the Museum's historic buildings and grounds. Presented by Ridgefield Arts Council. This year, Make Music Day is also the kickoff date for Music at the Museum, a collaboration between KTM&HC and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. Musicians from the world-class Orchestra will play live music onsite at KTM&HC Monday evenings, starting at 6:30pm, throughout the summer and early fall. Check out our calendar for future dates.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email so we can update it immediately.

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
