Greenburgh Nature Center's MAPLE SUGARING PARTY

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 03/03/2024
Join us as we carry on the delightful tradition of maple sugaring from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Our featured activities include sap collection, evaporation, demonstrations, depictions of Native American and Colonial-style sugaring sites, and maple crafts and treats. Tickets will be available for purchase on our website.ts. Purchase early and save! Let the sugary sweet aroma draw you into the sugar shack where you’ll watch live evaporation demos and learn how maple syrup is made. Taste sap tapped straight from our trees and learn all about the process of making maple syrup. Then, make your way over to our Colonial site and fill your bellies with some freshly made, warm porridge! You and your family will also enjoy other activities like storytelling, themed crafts, and sampling sweet snacks.
