Music in the Meadow Concert Series - Lachat Town Farm

With the dawn of spring and warmer temperatures, our attention shifts to hot summer nights and the 2023 Music in the Meadow series. We couldn't be more thrilled to announce a stellar line-up who are sure to help you get funky and move your feet. (Don't worry, if funk isn't your thing we always have a little something planned to appeal to everyone!) Kicking us off in June is Rhode Island-based Will Evans (of Barefoot Truth) a multi-instrumentalist and roots music star nominated for three New England Music Awards. Providing a special opening set for Will that evening are Weston brothers Kiran and Previn Edwards (of the band Residual Groove). In July we're thrilled to welcome Fuzz Sangiovanni (of Deep Banana Blackout, Caravan of Thieves and Tom Tom Club fame) and his Funk Allstars. Joining him on stage for two sets of the funkiest classics will be a stellar crew of players from acts like Kung Fu, the Machine, the Alan Evans Trio, and Wild Adriatic (to name only a few!) For August we keep the feel-good funky vibes flowing with a return visit from acclaimed brass band Funky Dawgz. Band leader and sax player Tommy Weeks is an in-demand session player -- you may have recently caught him on TV as part of the house band for Guy Fieri's "Guy's Ultimate Game Night." Finally, no summer would be complete without some of the finest Grateful Dead music around and Stella Blue's Band making their fourth consecutive appearance to close us out in September.
