“Town Hall Green” Walking Tour with the Fairfield Museum and History Center

Are you interested in learning more about the history of Fairfield and the surrounding area? Join us for a guided tour of the Town Hall Green and learn about the people, places, and events that took place right under your feet! Learn about a Native prehistoric village, the 1639 town center, “witch ducking experiments,” the Revolutionary War battleground, and the Burr Homestead, where John Hancock married Dorothy Quincy. These stories, and more, await on a fascinating journey through time.

$5 for members, $10 for non-members
Registration requested. We ask that participants register online, in advance of the tour.
Outdoor Guided Tours are limited to 20 people or less (depending on tour/area/site).
All participants on the Guided Tour must agree to socially distance.
Visitors will be allowed to enjoy a walkthrough of the historic space or house in groups of 4 or less. Any guided tour, discussion, or conversations will take place outdoors.
No Refunds will be given unless the program is canceled by the Fairfield Museum.
